Safe and Well is built to keep things simple — and that includes how we handle your information. This page explains what we store, why we store it, and who can see it.
What we store
Check-in records
The time and date each time you tap "I'm Okay Today." This is used to show your status and history, and to alert your caregivers if a check-in is missed.
Caregiver contacts
The names, phone numbers, and relationships you add, so the app can send alerts and help you reach them. Contacts are saved to your account and on your device.
Account & billing
Your email address and subscription status. Payment details are handled securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
How your data is used
Your check-in times and caregiver contacts are used only to run the service: showing your daily status, notifying your caregivers when you check in, and alerting them if a check-in is missed. We use a messaging provider to send SMS alerts to the caregivers you choose.
We never sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers. Data is stored through our secure backend with access limited to your own account.
Your choices
You can edit or remove any caregiver at any time. You can cancel your subscription from your account settings, and you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
